Jamie Harmon
DVM, CCAT
Dr. Jamie Harmon was born and raised in rural Ohio, surrounded by horses, dogs, cats, and a wide variety of wildlife, including raccoons. She knew she wanted to be a veterinarian before she could even say they word, instead declaring she wanted to be a “vegetarian”.
After moving to Atlanta, Georgia during high school, Dr. Harmon began volunteering with wildlife rehabilitation rescues in both Georgia and Florida, further strengthening her commitment to animal care and conservation.
She took a brief detour during her college years, initially earning a degree in Digital Media and Arts. At age 25, she returned to college and participated in a study abroad program focused on wildlife and ecology in Tanzania, Africa, where she also learned Swahili. She went on to complete her bachelor’s degree at Georgia State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with majors in Biology and Chemistry. She then began veterinary school at the University of Georgia in 2008, graduating Cum Laude and ranking in the top 20 of her class.
Following graduation, she owned and operated her own mobile veterinary care clinic in the Atlanta, Georgia area. She also held several long-term associate veterinarian positions before transitioning into work as a traveling relief veterinarian. In 2022, Dr. Harmon completed her Sports Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy Certification at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
For many years, she envisioned creating the first of its kind Veterinary Urgent Care model. In the fall of 2024, she moved to the Pacific Northwest with her daughter and several pets, drawn by her deep love of the outdoors. She’s now proud to be accomplishing a life-long career goal in opening PriorityPet and serving her Portland community.
Sierra
Born in Everett, Washington, Sierra has called many places home over the years, including Washington, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Utah. Growing up, she developed a love for animals, horseback riding, and the outdoors that has stayed with her throughout her life.
Sierra attended the University of Tampa, where she earned degrees in Psychology and Criminology. Veterinary medicine wasn’t originally part of the plan, but during COVID, she unexpectedly found her way into the field and never looked back. She began her veterinary career in client services and worked her way up to Practice Manager, discovering along the way how much she loves working with both people and their pets and helping create a hospital environment where teams can thrive.
Outside of work, Sierra is happiest outdoors, whether she’s horseback riding, camping, fishing, or exploring the Pacific Northwest. She also loves spending time with her dog, Luka, who is always up for joining in on the adventure.

Cheyenne
I have been a vet assistant for 9 years doing a mix of urgent care and GP. My love for all creatures was ingrained into me when I was a little bug in my mom.
I LOVE senior cats and anxious cats. I have 4 cats, Stinky my 1 year old Persian son, Myrtle my 13 year old Persian daughter, Tooty my 2 year old dumpster cat daughter and the newest addition Gremlin a 10 week old, one eyed, crooked mouth feral baby.
On my off time, I spend nearly all of it at the barn with my two horses. Maybe is my 4 year old mustang and Flea is my 5 year old appendix gelding. I also have a 5 year old sweet angel dog named Lucy (doodle doo) she is my basset Hound heeler mix.
